AC Hotel by Marriott St. Louis Chesterfield

Gorgeous hotel! Stayed here for a wedding i was in town for. My room was spacious and clean, shower was nice and hot. Check in took awhile bc the front desk agent was on the phone for like 10 mins when I came in and there wasn't anyone else around who could check me in. But I know how that can go and I wasn't in a hurry. I do wish there was a little more on the breakfast buffet especially on a weekend, it felt a little sparse for me so I didn't partake. But it's a beautiful hotel and would definitely return!

The best part of our stay was Jane in the dining area! She was absolutely amazing!! She interacted with our young kids and our 3 year old was very eager to see her each morning! She was so kind, patient and prompt, a true gem! I do wish they would have some high chairs on hand though, it was hard to eat when our 1 year old didn’t have anywhere to sit.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES STAY HERE! IF YOU enjoy cold showers, this is your place. Every single bathroom is equipped with a lovely rain shower, or a hand held both will give you a refreshing cold shower. This hotel has never had hot water since its opening, and the problem will not be fixed. The maintenance will lie to you in an effort to protect his or her job and owners who know very well that they are willingly allowing people to book here without hot water. I was offered another room with the very same issue. I expect a full refund and a major apology with a free meal at Ruth Chris. And even that is not enough to compensate me. Let's talk about the bugs that bit me all night or the lovely long black hair I found as I pulled back the covers. For 200 dollars+ a night, this is unexceptable on all levels. I hope this place will close down until this cold water issue is addressed, and all the customers that had to suffer a cold shower should all be refunded immediately.

We came for a concert at Chesterfield Amphitheater and this was the perfect hotel. It's clean and accommodating. We were able to walk to the venue and back around a man-made reservoir that was well-lit and had plenty of sidewalk space the entire way (it's about 0.6 mile). Easy access to the highway without the constant highway noise. The bartender kept the bar open late after the show for the few of us (including one the the performers) who were taking our time going back to our rooms. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Took a minute to figure out how to operate the curtains but that's just user error as they're electronic. We had a king room that I believe was handicap-accessible (last minute booking) so our room may have been more spacious than others. Nice color scheme. Great shower. We'll stay here again for future concerts/events for sure.

The good: plenty of parking and nice open lobby. The Bad: 1). The breakfast that you pay for is atrocious cold and repetitive. 2). The bathroom door and shower doors are both on rollers that either don’t roll or roll back open 3). The smart refrigerator runs “cold” at 45 degrees meaning you cannot leave food in or risk food poisoning. You cannot make it cool to food safe temps. 4). We left around 8 am and did not get our room refreshed despite returning around 11 PM. 5). The rooms AC is a LARGE FAN that is SO LOUD. You cannot sleep well. For a new hotel it’s laughable you must listen to a fan run 20+ hours a day to cool the room! As many have said this $200 dollar a night hotel is less valuable than a Holiday Inn Skip this place.
